The Floyd Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao bout billed for May 2 at the MGM Grand Arena, Las Vegas, has set another record as the fastest selling bout in history, as the tickets for one of the most anticipated
boxing matches ever staged sold out in less than 60 seconds after they went on sale on Thursday on the Ticketmaster website, TMZ news said on Friday.
The lowest-priced tickets were officially pegged at between $1,500 and $7,500, with only 1,000 issues. The plush tickets cost $10,000, but with the tickets website displaying the “No Tickets Left” sign, buyers would have to get them on the black market, with seats costing $80,000 each.
