Marque Lynche, former ‘Mickey Mouse Club’ & ‘American Idol’ star dies @ 34

Marque ‘Tate’ Lynche, who starred in Mickey Mouse Club alongside Britney Spears, Justin Timberlake and Ryan Gosling, was found dead in his apartment on Dec. 6. The 34-year old also competed on American Idol, reaching the semi-finals.

This is completely tragic. A beloved star from the 90’s Disney variety show All New Mickey Mouse Club has passed away, according to TMZ. Marque, who went by Tate on the show, was found unconscious in his New York City apartment on Dec. 6 by his roommate. Officials have not yet found his cause of death, but it is being considered suspicious. The singer and actor was just 34 years old

Marque performed on the popular show as a Mouseketeer from 1993 to 1995, starring alongside some of today’s hottest stars. Britney Spears, Ryan Gosling and Justin Timberlake all knew Marque when he was a kid. Though he didn’t have as much success as some of his costars, he did find some attention as a semi-finalist on American Idol, Season 3. He was an extremely talented singer, actor, and beloved childhood fixture to anyone growing up in the 90’s. Our prayers are with his friends and family at this time.
