He's constantly expanding his extensive collection of tattoos. And David Beckham appeared to have treated himself to a brand new addition to his body art in recent weeks, revealing a mystery inking on his ring finger when he stepped out on Sunday.
The father-of-four's latest etching was on full display as he carried four-year-old daughter Harper in his arms following his wife Victoria's New York Fashion Week show.
Cradling Harper's head in his left hand, Beckham's tattoo was clearly visible, revealing an elaborate pattern below his wedding band.
The placement of the star's latest inking appears to suggest David has got a tribute to wife of 16 years, Victoria.
He also appeared to have got the number 7 inked on his little finger, a clear reference to his daughter Harper Seven.
The retired footballer - who also has children Brooklyn, 16, Romeo, 13, and Cruz, 10, with Victoria - famously has the number '99' tattooed on his little finger to mark the year he got married to Victoria.
He boasts around 40 designs, with recent additions including the words 'Pretty Lady' next to his daughter Harper's name on his neck and the nickname 'Buster' on the other side in reference to his eldest son Brooklyn.
Speaking about how he chooses his designs, Beckham previously explained: ‘They’re about the important people in my life, who I want to have with me always.'
However, it seems his wife isn't such a fan of body art these days since the fashion designer has reportedly undergone laser treatment to get her tattoo dedicated to the football legend removed.
The 41-year-old mother-of-four has been having sessions to banish the Hebrew inking, which reads 'I am my beloved's and my beloved is mine' and is etched down her spine from the nape of her neck to her upper back.
The tattoo was noticeably lighter when the former Spice Girls singer stepped out in New York last September, but she has been keeping it under wraps since.
