There's been unconfirmed reports that Federal Government agencies are secretly recruiting children of prominent Nigerians, Governors, Senators and traditional rulers. Below is Nura Alkali's interesting view on the issue. Nura is a medical doctor & neurologist at ATBU Teaching Hospital, Bauchi State.
"During last year's elections in Bauchi, word went around the state capital that the PDP had car-loads of rigged ballots heading to the state INEC office. Soon, a mammoth crowd of APC youth supporters converged at the INEC office and sat outside the gates.
They checked each vehicle going into the INEC office to be sure none carried the said ballots. Governor Yuguda himself reportedly visited the scene to plead for them to disperse, but they defied him and the police and slept there for two days - even after soldiers shot two protestors, one of whom later died at my hospital.
Buhari would later score 931,000 votes in Bauchi State against GEJ's 86,000. And you now justify FGN agencies secretly recruiting the pampered children of Emirs, governors and senators while brothers and cousins of that deceased youth remain jobless? What kind of logic is that? Shame on you and everyone who thinks like you. Shame on every PMB appointee involved in these secret recruitments"
