Okorocha, Ihedioha go head-to-head

As far as the gubernatorial election in Imo is concerned, incumbent governor Rochas Okorocha is facing the battle of his life. His romance with the APC and subsequent defection from APGA to the party did not go down well with most residents in the state.

Though his record of performance in the state is one that has stood the test of time, his re-election bid might not come as easy as his first term.

Thus, Chris Okewulonu, Director General, Ihedioha Governorship Campaign Organisation believes his principal will have the edge over Okorocha.

Okewulonu said Ihedioha has combed all nooks and crannies of the state, selling his people-oriented manifestoes to the people. He is optimistic that he will give the state a facelift if voted as governor.

Governor Rochas Okorocha does not believe in due process and the rule of law.

Adding his voice, Prince Bath Obi, one-time lawmaker and Director General, Global Initiatives for Peace and Equity, is also optimistic that the PDP will sweep the polls in the state.
