Reports from Rivers State indicate that sporadic gun shot is currently going on in Obrikom community in Ogba Egbemi Ndoni Local Government area of Rivers State.
So far, seven All Progressives Congress (APC) supporters have killed, including Chief Adube, a traditional ruler, the party’s chieftain and two of his sons.
Obrikom houses major oil and gas installations in Rivers State.
At press time, the gunmen after the Obrikom attack, had proceeded to Oboh, a neighbouring community where Vincent Ogbuagu, the APC House of Assembly candidate comes from.
Ogbuagu used to work for Felix Obuah, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) chairman in the state.
