Homeless at 16 years, now at 25 he feeds and clothes the homeless

HOMELESS

A lot of people waist time complaining about the lack of character found in today’s human beings, especially the youth. The complainers focus on all of the negative people and forget all of the positive things happening all around us.

It also seems that the mainstream media has made a multi-billion dollar industry from focusing on the whereabouts and doings of the negative people of the world.

We don’t want to follow their lead. Today we want to focus on a clear HERO in life, Rashawn Higgs.

Rawshawn Higgs is a hero who clearly knows that the concept of “giving back” means. Rawshan Higgs was completely homeless and living on the streets just a mere five short years ago. Rashawn had to scrape and struggle just to find clothing, food and shelter anywhere he could. However, today Rashawn’s life has completely turned around. Rashawn today is literally passing out food and clothing to the homeless in his community.

If you have never experienced homelessness, Rashawn Higgs can tell you exactly what it is like in excruciating detail. Rawshan knows what the truths and myths about painful predicament and apparently never wants to experience it again. He is one who has never forgotten.

Rashawn’s personal luck turn around when his stepbrother was able to help him get a position at a local Grocery store. Apparently Rashawn was able to levy that job and his earnings to get himself off of the street. That simple act of kindness from Rashawn’s stepbrother made all of the difference in his life.

Rawshawn knows what simple acts of kindness can do, so he decided to spend his 25th birthday “giving” instead of being concerned with “receiving.”

Rashawn took his own funds of $300.00 that he earned from hard labor and purchased enough food ingredients to make tons of sandwiches for the homeless of his community. Rashawn also purchased a huge pile of garments from the local thrift store to pass out, considering how cold the weather will be this winter.
