An Ohio man who is wanted by authorities was unhappy with a mug shot used by police on Facebook so he sent them a selfie with one he thought was more flattering.
Donald A ‘Chip’ Pugh, 45, who has an active arrest warrant for failure to appear, sent the Lima Police Department a photo of him with a caption that read: ‘Here is a better photo that one is terrible,’ the Palm Beach Post reported.
Police shared the selfie showing Pugh donning a suit coat, shirt and sunglasses and wrote in a caption thanking him for being helpful but said they would appreciate if he came to speak to them.
‘This photo was sent to us by Mr. Pugh himself,’ the police department wrote in a Facebook post on Wednesday.
‘We thank him for being helpful, but now we would appreciate it if he would come speak to us at the LPD about his charges.’
