‘Too sexy for work’ woman loses lawsuit AGAIN after claiming clinic caused her permanent injury during venipuncture

The voluptuous banker who once claimed she was forced out of Citibank for being ‘too sexy’ has lost her lawsuit against a New York clinic, over a claim she was permanently injured when a technician drew blood from her.

A jury in Queens voted against Debrahlee Lorenzana, 38, yesterday for all counts of negligence.

Lorenzana, who now lives in Florida, had claimed a lawsuit against Quest Laboratories back in July 2012 after she said a technician caused permanent nerve damage that became worse after a car crash in December of that year, reported New York Daily News.

In statement released on Twitter, Quest said: ‘We’re happy the jury saw Quest adhered to rigorous standards in performing Ms. Lorenzana’s venipuncture.

‘We’re hopeful this verdict will discourage future frivolous lawsuits that waste legal resources and drive up health care costs.’

In papers filed in Queens Supreme Court that were obtained by New York Daily News, Lorenzana said she went to a Quest lab in Bayside on July 3, 2012, and was treated by a nurse ‘who lacked the requisite skills to draw blood without inflicting harm on her subjects’.

The suit claims the phlebotomist, identified as ‘Jane Doe’, and the lab ‘failed to properly diagnose, treat (and) prescribe for the condition from which the plaintiff was suffering’.

They also allegedly ‘failed to properly advise and instruct the plaintiff concerning post-procedure care’.

Strangely, the suit does not explain Lorenzana’s medical condition or clearly identify her injuries.
