Toddler, 2, dies in daycare van after being left in the vehicle for over three hours as grieving mother reveals school was run by her AUNT

A toddler died of hyperthermia on Monday after being left in a daycare van for more than three hours.

LaVontae Xavier Swain, 2, was found in the back of the vehicle during afterschool pickup from Lil’ Kings and Queens Daycare in Lexington, Kentucky.

The coroner later revealed that the young boy had died as a result of the heat in the van.

His grieving mother, Carless Swain, spoke with WDRB, saying; ‘He was my only child. I called him Vontae. I called him Daddy and King.’

The sobbing 19 year old also revealed that the daycare her son was attending was run by her aunt.
